In the era of globalization, more international tourists travel to developing countries to visit their natural and cultural attractions. The tourism industry in Indonesia increases up to 8.5% per year before the Covid-19 pandemic and it is possible will increase further when the Covid-19 pandemic is controlled. Unfortunately, accidents and the emergence of diseases during traveling are also increasing, so safety and health services are very crucial. Some lecturers of FKM-UNDIP have conducted research that provides an overview of the availability of safety and health services at various tourist attractions in Central Java. The findings show that tourist safety and health information services have not been a priority in most tourist destinations. It indicates that need the synergistic collaboration between health and tourism sectors to improve the quality of tourism in Indonesia.
